Hart, Bertha (87^th Birthday - 1964)

Mrs. Helen Stallard of Eau Claire and daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Sorles, entertained a large group of friends Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Bertha Hart in honor of Mrs. Hart’s 87^th birthday.  Mrs. Hart, who lives in Memorial Home at Neillsville, was very happy to be home and greet so many of her friends and to have her son Elgin, of Minneapolis, here for the occasion.

Mrs. Louise Stallard and Mrs. Hannah McNair and other ladies from Eau Claire also came to extend Birthday greetings.  It was a very happy afternoon for Mrs. Hart and all who came to greet and have coffee with her and her son, Alton, and his wife, Helen.

Mr. and Mrs. Stallard returned Monday to Eau Claire and Mrs. Hart to Neillsville.

Mrs. Hart is enjoying pretty good health and loves to visit.  Mr. and Mrs. Stallard will be coming back occasionally for a bit of rest in the old home.  Mr. Stallard is gaining since his operation and hope to soon be his self again.

Several friends called in the evening to extend birthday greetings, as they could not come in the afternoon.
