Max Opelt and family autoed to Marshfield Sunday to see Mrs. Will Opelt, who is sick in the hospital.

 

Miss Vera Shierholtz visited the Misses Ruby and Gertrude Martin Saturday and Sunday.

 

Mrs. Simpson and Mrs. House of Lindsey were shoppers here between trains Tuesday.

 

Max Opelt shipped a car of potatoes to Chicago the first of the week.

 

Saturday afternoon Miss Beatrice Brooks was greatly surprised when her girlfriends gave her a towel shower.

 

R.T. Washburn autoed to Neillsville Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Helm and Miss Bertha Helm.

 

108 numbers were sold at the dance at Lynn park Saturday night.

 

Arthur and Lillie Opelt autoed to Marshfield Tuesday.

 

Miss Nellie Broker of Lindsey attended the shower at Brooks’ Saturday.

 

Aug. Dangemyers spent Sunday at the F. Hankey home.

 

Mrs. R.C. Norman went to Neillsville Thursday of last week to take china painting lessons.

 

W.C. Beecher resigned his position at the O.W. Becker’s creamery the first part of the week and with his family left here Tuesday for Granton for a several days visit with his parents and from there will go to Stevens Point where he has employment for the winter.

 

Max Opelt received a car of feed the fore part of the week.

 

Davis and Snow shipped cattle from here last Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. F. Helm entertained their relatives at supper Sunday evening in honor of their son Carl and wife of Forest Junction.

 

A large number of relatives and friends gathered at the home of Phil Steinbach Saturday evening to help them celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Temelling and son Lyman spent Sunday at the J. Altenburg home.

 

Miss Elda Helm is spending this week at home with her parents.

 

Miss Addie Breseman visited at Marshfield with relatives from Friday until Monday.

 

O.W. Becker and Harry Eide attended a meeting at Neillsville Saturday evening.
