W.J. Spry had visitors Sunday.

John Kintzele sold three head of stock last week.

H. Beaty went to Loyal on Monday.

George Norris went to C.A. Latamore’s after a pig.

Frank Wood spent Monday night at Frank Downer’s.

Jay Curtis is working at W.W. Smith’s this week.

W.J. Spry has finished putting the shingles on his new house.

W.W. Smith and Otto Schmidtke made a short visit to Richland Co. the first of the week.

John Kintzele had his air pressure water system installed in his house this week.

Mrs. Schmidtke sold a cow and bought a new one last week.

F.J. Stevens and George Norris bought three new heifers a few days ago.

James Scoles came home from Madison Monday, where he visited his son and took in the Minnesota-Wisconsin football game.

W.J. Spry sold a load of hogs last week and brought his new furnace home.

Cecil Beaty has returned to school after a month’s absence, owing to a case of measles.

Jay Curtis and some friends went hunting Sunday.  They had excellent luck, bagging six squirrels at the expense of only about six shells.

The basket sociable and Halloween party was well attended.  The proceeds amounted to $14.55.  The money will be used to erect swings and other playground apparatus.  Perry Thayer won the pie eating contest and received a valuable prize for so doing.  The school wishes to thank the patrons and the old witch.

A.J. Spry made a business trip to Granton Monday.

Lem Curtis visited at W. Smith’s Sunday.

Mrs. Montgomery visited at the McClafflin’s Sunday.

Lloyd Spry visited Robert Johnson Sunday.

Frank Downer moved into his new house last week.

W.J. Spry is putting the shingles on his new house this week.

Two deer were seen near Kintzele’s last week.

Lautenbach’s machine threshed for Carl Retta, Schultz, Herman Garbisch and Gustave Reich this week.

Fred, John and Margareth Jacobi visited at Kintzele’s Sunday.

Miss Elsie Buddinger made an over Sunday visit at Canfield’s.

Mrs. Joe Bird and children returned home Friday.

Lautenbach’s threshing machine ha d a breakdown last Thursday.

Donald Baker visited his grandmother from Saturday night until Sunday evening.
