Last Sunday Mrs. Geo. Frei entertained the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schultz from Neillsville, Mrs. Gerzemehle, Mrs. Storm, Mrs. Carl Roehl, Mrs. Ed Ackerman and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foemmel.

 

Gertrude Davis was a Sunday guests of Marjory Pietenpol.

 

Walter Rowe make daily trips to Dr. Ross to have his hand dress, which he says in some places is doing fine and in others he is afraid it will have to be cut off a little more.

 

Truman Davis, wife and daughter Lila, Mrs. Geo. Wilson, hale Davis and family and Price Lee called at the W.S. Davis home Sunday and found F.W. to be up and around again.

 

Frank Krejci finished filling in around the bridge by Mr. Alton’s and now has it in fine shape.

 

Monday was shipping day and the way the stock went to Granton past here wasn’t slow.

 

Mr. Derby was here last week and drilled a well for Frant Osgood and drilled Nonhof’s well deeper.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Frei did shopping in Neillsville Saturday.

 

Mr. Tremelling, wife and son Lyman visited Mr. Altenburg’s in Lynn last Sunday.

 

Lucille Davis spent Saturday night with Mrs. Johnson while Alfred attended a cheese meeting at Marshfield.

 

Mrs. John Pietenpol spent Saturday afternoon with her father, Fred Davis, who is thought to have suffered a slight stroke of paralysis in the lower limbs while taking in stock at Lynn Friday.
