The Women’s guild will meet in Immanuel United Church January 6. Officers will be installed. Hostesses will be Mrs. Emil Noah and Mrs. Walter Schwarze.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Abbott and children, Pat, Mike and John, of Brookfield, spent from Thursday until Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller. Other Christmas Day dinner guests at the Keller home were Dale Keller of Cornell, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Zuraff and son, and Joseph Keller of Thorp, and Ida Zuraff of Chicago.
Miss Carmen Lindner arrived Thursday to spend two weeks at the home of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Lindner, and with other relatives and friends before returning to Seattle, Wash. Also spending the holidays at the Lindner home is Miss Lindner’s roommate, Miss Shirley Sera of Seattle, Wash.
Christmas Day guests at the Frederick Gotz home in Pittsville were Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson, Mrs. Christ Keiner, Mrs. Henry Keiner and Miss Louise Keiner of Greenwood; Miss Carol Severson of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard P. Leberg and sons, Paul, Mark and John, of Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Albrecht and daughter, Kathryn, of Arpin; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Leberg and children, Kim, Bruce II and Brenda, of Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler of Greenwood, Theodore Humke of the Memorial Home in Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Timmler and family of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Timmler of Eau Claire were Christmas Day guests at the Tom Lindner home in Loyal.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Braun and son, Todd, of Glasgow, Mont., are spending his 20-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Braun, and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen of Owen.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Liebzeit and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jakobi, spent several days in New Berlin with their son and brother, Harry Jakobi, and family and attended the wedding of their son, Gerald Jakobi.
The Adult Fellowship will meet in Immanuel United Church Sunday evening. Hosts will be Mr. and Mrs. George Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Liebzeit.
The Forest Queen Royal Neighbors camp will have their installation of officers and annual Christmas Party Monday evening in the Legion Hall. Fifty cent gifts will be exchanged. A potluck lunch will be served.
Capt. Gary Brux of Fort Ord, Calif., is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux.
Mrs. Kathryn Ivey and son, Charles, spent the holidays in Sun Prairie with her son, James Ivey, and his family.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenton Stewart and children, Scott and Jan, of Madison, spent from Christmas day until Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart. Sunday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stewart of Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Olin Thompson of Portage and granddaughter, Karen Jepsen of Appleton, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.
Sunday dinner guests at the Godfrey Dyre home were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen and daughter, Donna, of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Braun and son, Todd, of Glasgow, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph La Monica of Chicago, Miss Joan Dyre of Minneapolis; Miss Jane Dyre of Delavan; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Olson and children, Diane, Sandra, Richard and Duane.
The Christmas Cookie Swap club party was held Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Robert Schneider. Members present were Mrs. James McConnell, Mrs. George Seliskar, Mrs. Leon Kuester, Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs. Wilbur Stewart and Mrs. Kenneth Steiger. Guests attending were Mrs. James Metzke, Mrs. Rose Ludwig, Mrs. Robert Stewart, Mrs. Louis Vogel and Mrs. Adelbert Wells.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kirn were Wednesday evening visitors at the Cyril Llewellyn home at Rock Dam.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke and daughters, Christie and Shelley, of Rochester, Minn., spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, and with his father, Theodore Humke, at Memorial Home in Neillsville.
Mrs. V. A. Hass arrived Saturday from Oakdale to spend several days with her daughter, Mrs. Bernard Novobielski, and her family.
