Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Veda Mertens of Withee, were Sunday guests at the Orv Matzke home in Wausau.
Charles Ivey returned to Glenwood City Sunday after spending two weeks’ vacation here. Mr. Ivey and his mother, Mrs. Kathryn Ivey, spent several days at the James Ivey home in Sun Prairie.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rohde showed pictures of the 1963 "Rose Parade" in California at the meeting of the Adult Fellowship held in Immanuel United Church Sunday evening. The new president, Delmar Toburen, presided at the meeting. Mrs. Norman Liebzeit gave the devotions. Following the program a lunch was served by Mr. and Mrs. George Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Liebzeit. The next meeting will be held February 7 with Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Liebzeit, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meinhardt and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Franz as hosts.
