Mr. and Mrs. Chapman Paulson and sons of Neillsville, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke, returned Wednesday after visiting the following relatives in Illinois during the Christmas holidays: Mr. and Mrs. John Engelsman and family, in Maywood; Mrs. Gertrude Wilson in Chicago; Mrs. Alma Carrey in Batavia; and Mr. and Mrs. John Dombro in Wheaton.
Mr. and Mrs. James Dahlke and son, James, Jr., of Loyal were Sunday gusts at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahlke.
The following relatives were Christmas Day supper guests at the George Schmitz home: Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Schmitz and family of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Tassie and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Schmitz.
Mr. and Mrs. George Schmitz and Elmer Hankey spent Saturday ice fishing near La Crosse.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky entertained the following relatives Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rollins and family and Mrs. Frieda Johnson of Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ure and Muriel, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ure and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Sternitzky and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lautenbach and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Opelt of Levis, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Howard of Marshfield, were New Year’s Day guests at the William Dankemyer home. Saturday Freeman Dankemyer of Chili and his daughter, Natalie, of Wisconsin Rapids were dinner guests at the Dankemyer home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Schmitz and family of Nasonville were New Year’s Day guests at the George Schmitz home.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke were Sunday dinner guests at the Louis Grottke home.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky were New Year’s Day guests at the Raymond Kaddatz home in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Gotter of Loyal were Sunday supper guests at the William Foote home.
James Hasz, who spent the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hasz, returned to Platteville Sunday. He attends college there.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Riedel visited Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lempke at Loyal Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Schmitz and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riedel Sunday evening.
