Columbia (7 January 1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fox and two children of Barrington, Ill, came last week Thursday to spend the holiday weekend with his parents, the Freeman Foxes, and other relatives.  They, with Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Fox were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Fox and family at Alma Center on New Year’s Day.  They also did some skiing at Bruce Mound.  On Saturday they visited her mother, Mrs. Alice Schmidt in Shortville, and returned home Sunday morning.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Fox visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sischo Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin attended a farewell party Saturday evening at the Tommy Pozega home in Weston in honor of their son Steven Pozega, who is leaving for induction into Military service.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vornholt and Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen of Neillsville were supper guests New Year’s Eve at the Georgeana and William Schulz home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin visited Mr. and Mrs. George Church in Pine Valley New Year’s Eve.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kolbrak of Altoona, Mrs. Frieda Baumel of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger were Sunday supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Sollberger. 

 

Mrs. George Mashin visited Georgeana Schulz Sunday afternoon.

 

Sam Wederwitz and son of Milwaukee occupied the B. S. & R. cottage several days last week. They did some bow and arrow hunting in the area.
