Pleasant Ridge (14 January 1965)
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jacobs and two children of Wausau were Sunday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Kuechenmeister will be hosts to their couple’s card club Saturday evening.
Genevieve Hantke and Nina Blackman were in Marshfield Thursday.
Delbert Bills is spending this week in Madison. He plans to retire from his work later this month, and will return to this area to make his home. Mr. and Mrs. Bills already have moved their household goods to the Vernon Drescher farm, where they will reside.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Babka and family of Black River Falls spent the weekend with her father, Arthur Hubing.
The Pleasant Ridge Homemaker club will meet January 20, at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. C. A. Paulson. The topic, "Prepared Mixes and Maser Mix," will be given by Mrs. Ernest Vine and Mrs. Ed Lezotte.
Carl Drescher returned home Saturday from Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for a week.
The birthday club met one evening last week at the Ernest Vine home, honoring Mrs. Vine on her birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Short spent the weekend in Milwaukee attending a mink show. Friday evening they were guests of Mrs. Minnie Krueger, and Saturday evening they spent with Mrs. Short’s sister, Mrs. James Butterfield, and her family in Waukesha. They returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Short also attended the show.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olson and daughter of Marshfield visited Sunday afternoon with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Korth.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larsen were Sunday evening guests at the Ruth Ebert home in Neillsville.
