I. J. Ferris' New Residence

The Above cut is a good likeness of Agent I. J. Ferris' new residence, the exterior of which is nearing completion.  The cut does not show the residence to its best advantage, the leaded glass in the upper sash of the second story being indistinguishable.  Neither does it show the fine shade trees that stand on Mr. Ferris' lots.  We are indebted to the contractor, J. J. McGllivray, of Black River Falls, for use of the illustration.  Humbird Enterprise, Humbird, Wis., pg. 1, 30 May 1908.

I. J. Ferris has contracted with J. J. McGillivray, of Black River Falls, for the erection of his new house next spring. The house will be on the same plans as one erected for Will McGillivray this season, and which is considered one of the finest of its size in that city. Mr. Ferris was at the Falls Tuesday to close the contract.

I. J. Ferris is making some fine post card views of different local scenes. Mr. Ferris has devoted himself to the camera as a pastime for a number of years and is now past the armature stage of the game. He has placed the view cards on sale at the drug store. W. F. Hein is another who does considerable work in the way of view cards and outdoor photography. Mr. Hein recently secured a new camera of a larger size than his former one.
