Art Wittcamp came home from Illinois last week.

 

Dave Janes and Geo. Sparks came up from Bancroft to hunt for a few days.

 

Clara Gall is working in City Point.

 

There was a large crowd out to the dance Saturday night.  All had a good time.

 

 

A.A. Gates and Andrew Lawson had a stack of hay burned up on the McGinnis place.

 

There is to be a school program, basket sociable and dance at the town hall Saturday night.

 

Charles and Albert All had their cows dehorned Tuesday.

 

Fred Erdman came home from North Dakota Monday after spending the Summer in the west.  He has taken up a homestead at Port Buford, N.D.

 

Andy Anderson is still confined to the house with rheumatism.

 

A Thanksgiving entertainment will be given in the Sherwood Town Hall on Wednesday evening, Nov. 26 by the pupils of Myra Jahr’s school with the help of a few outsiders.  The program will consist of music, recitations, dialogues, tableaux, a pumpkin drill and a play entitled "Dr. Cure All", Admission 10 cents.  Money will be used to get new book case for the school house.  The program begins at 8 o’clock sharp.
