The town of Fremont is threatened with an ice famine next summer unless a certain threat is revoked.
We would like to take little longer vacation but dare not take the risk of arousing the Editor’s wrath.
Dell Milholn says he shot a doe that weighed 400 pounds. Anyone is justified to call him a liar without further notice.
It is reported that Alfred Reisner is suffering with a severe case of buck fever.
Emil Lindow is expected home in a couple of days from a two week visit with relatives and friends in Fond du Lac County.
If the game were as plentiful in this vicinity as the game wardens, the nimrods would indeed have good picking.
Mr. and Mrs. R. Guk drove out and attended the funeral of Mr. Dan Gluch on Monday.
A birthday party took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Chubb Sunday evening.
B. Drescher delivered wood to the school house last Saturday.
Rev Kemena of Loyal occupied the pulpit at the Lutheran Church of Fremont Sunday afternoon.
The Sternitzky boys sawed wood in this neighborhood last week.
Walter Moldenhauer sawed lumber for L. Luke last Saturday.
Henry Meyers threshed clover for Mrs. E. Steinbach and C. Chubb last week.
One of Fred Lichte’s hind legs was put out of commission by coming in contact with a saw long.
Mrs. Louis Sternitzky sprained one of her ankles very severely by jumping out of a buggy Sunday when their horse took fright of an auto.
