Mrs. Tremelling and children of the vicinity of Granton, with Mrs. R. Wentworth, were guests at the Altenburg home on Tuesday.

 

Will Pfeifer of Milwaukee, who has been the guest of the E.F. Brooks family for the past week or more, returned home Monday.

 

Miss Arneson is preparing the pupils for an entertainment Thanksgiving.

 

Mrs. Dankemyer and son martin and family of Fremont spent Sunday at Fred Hanke’s.

 

Herman Bower of Marshfield autoed out and took dinner with the E.F. Brooks family and then autoed to Nevins, taking Mrs. Norman and Mrs. E. Montag with them.

 

Arthur and Lillie Opelt and Laura Faber autoed to Neillsville Saturday.

 

Mrs. Rose, who has been staying with her father H. Krause for some time, left Monday for Romadka where they are building a new house on their farm.

 

Mrs. C. Montag spent several days last week with her son Herman at Chili.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Montag left Tuesday for Cedarhurst for an indefinite stay.

 

C.W. Chubb and Levi Morris shipped several car of hay last week.

 

The regular train on the C.M. & St. P. will run Monday, Wednesday and Friday and extra trains will run during the week to supply shippers with cars and take out all loads as necessary.

 

Lena Wiertz came home this week from Neillsville after her siege of sickness with the measles.

 

Mrs. R.C. Norman was a business caller at Neillsville last week.

 

Max Opelt will give a dance at the Lynn Park Wednesday evening, Nov. 26th.  Schoengarth’s Orchestra will furnish the music.
