Bremer, Paulina (20 August 1877 - January 1965)
A resident of northern Clark County for about 60 years was Mrs. Paulina Bremer who died last week in Oconomowoc at the age of 87. Burial was made in the cemetery at Dorchester.
Mrs. Bremer had made her home for the last two years with a daughter, Mrs. Emil Neuman, in Oconomowoc.
She was born Paulina Schneider August 20, 1877, in Poland and came with her parents to the United States in 1893. The family settled in Gillette, where they resided until 1903, when they moved to the Abbotsford area.
She was married to Michael Majewski, who preceded her in death, and on May 5, 1910, was married to John Bremer, Sr., who died in 1952. Mrs. Bremer was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur of Milwaukee and John, Jr., of Abbotsford; three daughters, Miss Elsie Bremer of Abbotsford, Mrs. Albert Fenske of Dorchester and Mrs. Neuman; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
