Roscoe Mellen has the good luck to kill a deer.
August Zuelsdorf’s had company on Sunday.
L.J. Stevens and W.W. Smith visited Curtis’ Sunday.
W. McClaflin went to town one day last week.
Clara Reich visited her grandma Sunday.
W.W. Smith is building a hog house this week.
W. Spry is having a chimney put on his new house this week.
Mesdames McClaflin and Montgomery visited at Frank Downer’s Sunday.

Fred Frank sold two fine hogs this week.
Loyal Jordan has moved on to his new farm.
The Romadka train has changed time and is only running every other day.
Webb Winn was seen on our street Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. McClaflin visited at Chub Grabe’s Sunday.
Mrs. James Baker visited the dentist’s office last Saturday.
Roy Wright has been working at Frank Downer’s the past week.
Fred Jacobi intends to have a phone installed in his residence in the near future.
Mrs. Frank Downer called on Mrs. Fred Frank last Thursday afternoon.
Frank Wood stayed one night last week with Vernie Kintzele.
Mrs. Paul Hantke was visiting at her mother-in-law’s while Mr. Hantke was hunting.
Mr. and Mrs. James Baker and son Donald called at Frank Downer’s Sunday and took dinner there.
Paul Hantke, Fred Jacobi and son Willie returned home from hunting last Sunday.
Ralph Spry met with a very painful accident Sunday while trying to catch a colt. The colt turned and kicked him in the face, near one eye. The blow knocked him senseless, bruising him quite badly, but fortunately his eye was not injured.
Don’t foreget to come to the Thanksgiving program at the Garbisch Schoolhouse next Wednesday evening, Nov. 26. The program will consist of the play, "The Courtship of Myles Standish" which lasts for nearly one hour, and several recitations. An admission fee of 5 and 10 cents will be charged, the proceeds to be used for playground apparatus. Come out and help the school and we promise that you will get you money’s worth.
