Krause, Adelyn C. #2 (11 JUN 1921 - 24 JUN 1963)

Mourners will gather this afternoon at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee, paying their final respect to a dear relatives and close friend who had her life snuffed out suddenly and tragically Monday afternoon.

Rev. Byrl Knudsen will officiate at the final rites to be held for Mrs. William E. Krause, 42, with burial to be made at Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dr. M.V. Nason, Edward Lehnen and Ed Martin, Owen; Ted Papierniak, Thorp, Adam Michur, Withee and R. C. Fisher, Wausau.  Their wives will be in charge of the floral offerings.

The deceased was born Adelyn Carol Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Olson, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), at Baldwin, Wis. on June 11, 1921.  She received her early education in the Baldwin school system and after graduation enrolled at River Falls state Teachers College, River Falls.

On May 26, 1943 she and William E. Krause were united in marriage in a ceremony performed at Ru? River, Wis.  They then made their home at Thorp prior to moving to the Owen-Withee area about 15 years ago.

During her residence here she had been most active in the activities of the ladies of Nazareth Lutheran Church and other civic functions when volunteer workers were needed.

Survivors include her husband, one son, William A. Krause, serving with the U.S. Air Force at Amarillo, Texas, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Olson, Withee, and a brother, Norman Olson of St. Paul, Minn.
