W.B. Wentworth went home to Edgerton on Saturday.
August Hammler transacted business at Marshfield on Monday.
Rex Beecker was at Chili on business on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wallace and son Lawrence went home to Stevens Point on Friday.
Dr. Housley of Chili was a business caller here Saturday.
August Dankemyer of Chili was her on business Saturday.
Mrs. Langdon Nichols, Geo. Nichols and Ray Canfield were at the county seat on business on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gus Krause drove over from Neillsville and spent Sunday with the W.J. Thayer family.
Mrs. Ernest Grabe of the town of York went to Madison Monday to visit at the John Mabie home.
Doc Abbott, a horse doctor of Marshfield, was here on professional business on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hart spent Sunday at the Chas. Chapel home in Marshfield.
John Mooney, who returned from the Dakota harvest fields several weeks since, is yet a bachelor.
Abner Darling, an old Civil War vet, was over from Neillsville calling on town friends on Monday.
Mrs. Hugh Berg has spent much of the past week at Neillsville where she is having dental work done.
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Waterman of Chili spent Sunday here at the E.A. Beeckler home.
Fred Reitz of Neillsivlle was here on business on Monday.
Mike Hubing went home to Athens on Saturday.
Mrs. Hahm and daughter Emma went to Marshfield to consult an oculist as to Emma’s eyes on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Rose and Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Knorr autoed to Marshfield Monday on pleasure bent.
T. Wage was at Marshfield looking after his real estate interest in that city on Saturday.
Grandpa Barth, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Barth and daughter Ruth are on a two week visit at Brillion since Saturday.
Homer Downer was made the pleased victim of a surprise party by 14 of his fellow townsmen Monday night in honor of his birthday.
Clarence Rhines of Sheboygan, after a week’s visit here with the David H. Rhines family, returned to Sheboygan on Tuesday.
Miss Sadie Anderson, who teaches in the Emil Krause district southeast of here, spent Sunday with her parents in Marshfield.
P.J. Kemmeter is home since Sunday from a several days business trip to Neenah, Menasha and Appleton.
Norman Schroeder, who is attending school at Neillsville, spent Sunday here with the Edward Schroeder family.
E.J. Schuler of Milwaukee came up Saturday and made an over Sunday visit with his brother A.B. and family in the town of York.
Frank Lockner, who is the tenant on the Doc Ross farm in the town of York, made a business trip to Black River Falls on Saturday.
W.P. Budge, who recently sold his farm to Rush Wentworth, moved into town Tuesday and will make his home here with Mrs. M.J. Huff.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Dubes and Mrs. Rebecca Clouse of Yale, Iowa, after a week’s visit here at the Nate Dubes home, departed Tuesday on the return trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Helm and daughter Anita of Lynn came home Monday from a several weeks visit between Milwaukee, West Bend and other state points.
Miss Thiedeman of Thorp, who is teaching school in the Porath District, went home Saturday for a week’s vacation and visit under the parental roof.
Mrs. F.J. Baer and Helene left yesterday morning for Spooner on a several days visit with the C.D. Stockwell family. They will also visit friends at Eau Claire before returning.
Miss Anna Laskowski came up from Hancock Saturday and remained until Tuesday that she might attend her brother Anton’s wedding and visit dad and mother.
Bruce Armitage and family vacated the Doc Schwarz house Monday and returned to Neillsville and again took up residence at the Abner Darling place.
Wm. Filter of Madison, after a week’s visit here with the Oscar Kuechenmeister family and not getting a deer, left with Oscar Tuesday for Saxon in Iron County on a hunting trip, hoping for better luck.
Delbert Gardner came home from the north end of the county last week with a deer and the measles. He is pretty sick and his mother was obliged to recall invitations she had out among close friends for Thanksgiving dinner with them.
The Misses Ora, Maria and Florence Davis, with little Edna Lee, Mrs. John Goebel, Mrs. Max Geimer, Mrs. Rush Wentworth, Albert Davis and Frank Wood were Neillsville visitors Saturday.
The Circle will hold a Fair and Supper at the church parlors next Wednesday, Dec. 3rd. The public is cordially invited to attend and patronize the fair and enjoy the 15 cent supper.
Miss Mary Schune is on an extended visit at her brother Herman in Altoona.
Lloyd Davis, who is working for the Bell Telephone Co., with headquarters at Marshfield, spent Sunday with the W.S. Davis family.
Mrs. Sid Davis spent several days last week with Neillsville friends and came home on Saturday.
Mrs. Geo. Sutherland, after a week’s visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Furgeson in Washburn, went home to Sparta on Saturday.
Henry Morrissey of Edgerton visited his sister Mrs. Rush Wentworth here a couple of days last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stringham of Marshfield came over Saturday for a few days visit with the Shafter family in the town of Washburn.
Mrs. Ben Joern went to Fall Creek Saturday. Ben joined her there next day and they returned on Monday morning’s limited.
Miss Augusta Schoengarth and her niece Leah Reindel spent Tuesday with the former’s sister Miss Huldah at the Marshfield hospital.
Helene Baer spent a couple of days last week visiting at the J. Wolf home in Neillsville.
Mrs. Eva Canfield, Mrs. Fred Frank, Mrs. Ruth and Mrs. Herman Schoengarth were Neillsville visitors Friday.
Arthur Hubing has a wood cutting job at Chili and returned to his duties there on Monday.
Herman Flonker came up from Plymouth last Friday for a visit at the Robert Petznick home in Heathville.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis brought their daughter Jean home from the Eau Claire hospital Friday, apparently well on the road to recovery.
Mrs. Ted Selves drove in from home Friday morning and met Ted who was returning from a several days visit at this brother Tom’s in Colby.
Mrs. H.F. Schlinsog and daughter Violet went to Altoona Tuesday and remained until Tuesday. Mrs. Phillip Breseman, who had been down on a visit at the Richard Anding home, returned here with them on Tuesday.
Mrs. Hale Davis, Mrs. T. Wage, Mrs. Ross Paulson, Mrs. E.A. Beeckler, Mrs. James Baker, Mrs. Webb Winn, Mrs. H.B. Holmes, the Misses Lena and Laura Riedel, too advantage of the nice weather and spent Monday with friends at Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wiesner came home last Friday from a several weeks visit with realtives at Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Drake, with their 2 children of Chester, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Dave Williams of Neillsville, Mr. Williams of Fond du Lac and Mr. and Mrs. N.E. Crandall of Neillsville were here and helped the Eugene Crandall house celebrate Thanksgiving.
