Mr. and Mrs. Mellen are visiting their daughter Mrs. Latamore.

Mr. Howard Beaty and family visited Curtis’ Sunday.

Ralph Spry is getting along nicely after his accident.

Wallace Fruit is cutting wood for L.J. Stevens and Geo. Norris.

Margareth Jacobi is back at school again after a short absence.

Mr. Curtis had hay baled Monday.

Willie Jacobi and Howard Canfield took dinner at McClaflin’s Sunday.

Mr. Eaden visited at Jacobi’s Sunday.

Clara Schmidtke visited at Garbisch’s Sunday afternoon.

Lizzie Johnson visited her grandmother Sunday.

Mrs. Ferd Richter and children spent Sunday afternoon at O. Montgomery’s.

Jim Baker plowed for Frank Downer last Friday and Saturday.

Nate Dubes is enjoying a visit from relatives from Iowa.

Mrs. A. Montgomery and granddaughter Kena visited Mrs. Frank Downer Saturday.

Mrs. Clifford Winn visited her mother the latter part of the week.

Donald Baker visited his cousins, Eugene and Victor Downer, on Saturday.

Agnes Schuster is working for Mrs. Robert Strey.

Farmers need not complain if they haven’t their plowing finished.  It is their own fault, as they had until Nov. 22 to finish it.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wright are moving on the John Patno farm, which was recently rented by Howard Beaty.  Roy intends to work for Mr. Beaty this winter.

We are sorry to learn of Arleigh Grave’s accident.  It should be taking as a warning to others.  Every child should be taught to leave gun powder alone.  We hope he will be able to join his schoolmates again soon.

We wish to apologize to Heathville for purloining his news items.  It was entirely unintentional and unpremeditated on our part.  Not knowing the city limits of either Romadka or Heathville, we could not be blamed for unwillingly encroaching on another’s territory.  Besides, Heathville is so much larger and prosperous than Romadka that it should not mind losing a few items.  Anyway, after looking at the matter from the didactic point of view we came to the conclusion that seeing there were so many good items lying around with no one using them, we were entirely justified in appropriating.
