McCann, Ethel #2 (24 NOV 1913)
Mr. Anton Laskowski and Miss Ethel McCann, accompanied by the former’s sister, Miss Anna and brother Theodore, went to Neillsville Monday, where at Rev. Nogle’s in the presence of his sister and brother and the Reverend’s household, the first named couple was joined in the holy bonds of matrimony. Rev. Nogle of the Methodist Church officiated. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. McCann of the town of Sherwood, a very pretty young lady of pleasant manners and appearance, and well-endowed with the qualities requisite in the establishment of a happy home. The groom, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laskowski of the town of Lynn, is a young, practical and prosperous farmer, thoroughly honest and trustworthy. He owns and operates a fine 96 acre farm just east of town and is well qualified to care for the worthy bride he has secured and taken to this farm home. That theirs may be a long and happy married life is the wish of the News and their many friends hereabouts.
