Levis (10 Sept 1914)
H. Stinn raised his barn last Wednesday.
Mrs. Zedekar called at the Epding home Wednesday of last week.
J. Kolar has completed a fine modern house.
Misses Effie Alt, Johanna Blum, Edna Munson, Elizabeth Kennedy and Mrs. John Blum visited Lincoln school Friday afternoon.
Wm. Bouska returned from the West Friday.
Wm. Richmond, Wm. Rath and R. French have completed their silos. Wm. Rath purchased a gasoline engine. He has filled his silo and will fill silos for Messrs Sears and Richmond.
The new porch on Mr. Seelow’s house was struck by lightning and badly wrecked Saturday.
Mrs. Goertz, son Jacob, and John Sonheim left last Thursday for Chicago.
Esther Keller worked for Hakes last week.
Mr. Jull stepped on a rusty nail last week and is under the doctor’s care at present.
Friends of Mrs. Fessendon helped her celebrate her sixty-seventh birthday Monday afternoon.
