Wilke, Hattie (2 Sept 1914)
The Times neglected last week to chronicle the marriage of John T. Counsell and Miss Hattie Wilke, which occurred on Sept. 2nd, at the M.E. parsonage. The groom is a son of Mrs. Thomas Counsell and is a capable and energetic young man. He has chosen farming as his life’s vocation and to this end has rented his mother’s farm and will operate it. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wilke of Washburn and is a young lady who is held in the highest esteem and respect by all her numerous acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs. Counsell are young people who stand well in this community and they have the very best wishes of all for their future welfare and happiness. They have gone to housekeeping on the Counsell farm southeast of this city.
