Buddinger, Elsie (23 Sept 1914)
The marriage of Miss Elsie Buddinger to Mr. Ray Canfield took place at Mr. Wilson Mallory’s home in the town of York Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Mallory performing the ceremony which united the happy pair. The bride was attired in a dress of white satin messaline with tunic and trimmings of white shadow lace. She also wore a white picture hat and carried a bouquet of white roses. They left on the evening train for Minneapolis and will visit at Duluth and other Minn. state points before returning to take up their residence at the groom’s old home which he has rented. Mr. Canfield is an experienced and practical farmer, well qualified to conduct the farm and provide a good home for his young bride.
The bride, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Buddinger of the town of York, is almost a stranger to us, but who in her frequent visits at the Canfield home the past year has made many friends in the neighborhood which will be her future home and where she will return a happy bride. - Granton News
