Mentor Schools (15 August 1914)
The schools in the village, and the Wilbur, Lightfoot and Cotton rural schools will open for the school year of 1914-15 on Monday, Sept. 7th. Some minor repairs are yet to be made to the property of the district, but all is expected to be in readiness by that date. The following teachers will compose the corps for these schools:
Principal, Mr. H. R. Fadner, of Appleton, Assistant, Miss Amelia Holt, of Eau Claire; Grammar, Miss Mae McNamara, of Neillsville; Intermediate, Miss Jennie Hart, of Humbird; Second Primary, Miss Alice Fowler of Humbird; First Primary, Miss Tressie Haas, of Spring Valley; Wilbur, Miss Bernice Cole; Lightfoot, Miss Sophia Theiler; Cotton, Miss Ina Bemis
Principal Fadner writes that he will be in the village several days before the opening of school and would be pleased to have any one consult him regarding the school work.
