Prindle, Allen (25 October 1878 - 27 February 1965)

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Allen Prindle, 86, of Granton, who died Saturday in Neillsville.  He had been a resident of Memorial Home for several months.  The Rev. Oscar Nichols of the Methodist Church officiated.  Burial was made in Windfall Cemetery.

Mr. Prindle was born October 25, 1878, in Waucoma, Ia., where he attended school.  He later left for New York State, where he was engaged in farming for many years.  In 1947, he moved to Granton.

He is survived by a brother, Irvin Prindle of Baraboo; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Odekirk of Campbellsport.

Pallbearers were Otto Holnbach, Roland Quicker, Pete Montgomery, Walter Steinbach and Carl Bladl.
