Henry Huntley spent Tuesday night with friends at Neillsville.

 

Mrs. Geo. Rose spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Campbell at Marshfield.

 

Mike Hubing Jr., after a several days visit here at the Geo. Beaver, home, returned to Belgium Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Otto Henze spent Wednesday at the Emery Crosby home in Neillsville.

 

Neva Henze suffered with tonsillitis the first of the week and was unable to return to her studies at Neillsville until Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Clark Waterman is spending the week here keeping house in the absence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Beeckler.

 

Gust Krantz of the town of Rock and Dan Messing of Lindsey were in town Wednesday.

 

Julius Sontag is conductor on the day passenger through here while Jas. McHugh is taking a vacation.

 

Geo. Spry, after a week’s visit at Albert Latamore’s, went home to Richland County Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hart went to Humbird Wednesday for a several days visit among relatives.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scholtz and little son, after a two week visit between Nasonville and Sherwood relatives, went home to St. Paul Saturday.

 

Jim Fields, Wm. Sultrecht and son Wm., and Louis Scholtz of Sherwood, John Furgeson of Washburn took the train here Wednesday for the county seat.

 

Eugene Crandall moved into the Reichert Bros. home Wednesday.

 

Chas. Neinas and family spent Sunday with the Chas. Guk family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Joern moved into the Doc Schwarz house Tuesday.

 

Arthur Stallman was at Elroy and Camp Douglas a few days last week.

 

Miss Dora Toptine spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the P.M. Cranston home in Neillsville.

 

Chas. Schuelke made a business trip to the county seat Tuesday.

 

Will Lowery has been visiting relatives at Fifield for 10 days past.

 

Clyde Shaw and family went home to Stillwater Friday.  The new three week old baby has the chicken pox.

 

Phil Shaw, after a 12 day visit here in Mrs. Hattie Beeckler’s home, left on Tuesday for Green Bay.  Mrs. Beeckler accompanied him as far as Seymour.

 

Mrs. Myron Osgood and little daughter Mary came home Tuesday from a 5 day visit with relatives at Loyal.  Bush Davis of that place accompanied them down and is enjoying a visit among relatives and old friends.

 

The Mesdames W.S. Davis, H. Berg and Hahm, Hale Davis, Hattie Beeckler and Miss Mollie Grasser and Alva Thayer were Neillsville visitor, Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson with their three youngest children, after a week’s visit in the David Steele home, returned to Black River Falls Tuesday.  They enjoyed a family reunion here last week while visiting their daughter, Mrs. Steele, and their son Thomas and his family came down from Phillips.

 

Mrs. Geo. Rose entertained a number of ladies last Friday at a party in celebration of her birthday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Neinas enjoyed Thanksgiving with the Wm. Albrecht family.

 

Delos Raymond moved into his lately purchased house on Main St. Wednesday.

 

Will Shafer moved into Rice Davis’ last bought residence property this week.

 

C.S. Stockwell and his son Arthur recently purchased the E.J. Kellicut place in the town of Washburn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Morris and son Grant came home from a couple of days trip and visit at Minneapolis on Friday.

 

Arnold Drescher, after a several days stay and visit at Eau Claire, came home from there Monday.

 

On account of the bad roads the Circle Fair and supper has been put off until next week Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Gerzemehle, who spent Thanksgiving with her daughter Laura at the Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire, came home from there Friday night.

 

Grandpa Bartz and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bartz, with their youngest daughter, are home since Monday from a couple of weeks visit among various southern state points.

 

Miss Augusta Schoengarth went to Marshfield Tuesday and came home the next day bringing with her her sister Miss Hulda, who had been in the hospital there for several weeks past.  Hulda is well on the road to perfect health now.

 

Geo. Huff arrived here Saturday.  He came from the Saskatchewan Dist. Of Canada where eh has been with his brother Will for several months past.

 

Mrs. Geo. Frei is very ill with a complication of diseases since late last week.  Mrs. Ed Ackerman is caring for her.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Wilson with their three children came down from Phillips last week and remained until Tuesday, guests in the Dave Steele home.

 

Fred Tyler took his son Dale to Marshfield Wednesday where he entered the hospital and underwent an operation for relief from an internal abscess on the back of his ear.  The little fellow is reported as doing well.

 

Chas. Wilke made an over Sunday visit with friends at La Crosse and came home on Monday.

 

Mrs. Herman Albrecht of the town of Hewett is here since Tuesday assisting Mrs. Geo. Huntley in the care of her son Vernon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Davis are entertaining several families at dinner this (Thursday) evening.

 

Ben Erwin of Kilbourn came up last Friday and remained until Tuesday, a guest in the Fisk Lee home.

 

Miss Stella Snyder of Neillsville visited the Wm. Rogers family in York last week.  Mrs. Rogers accompanied her home on Tuesday and is spending the balance of the week in that city.

 

Mrs. F.J. Baer and daughter Helene are home since Monday from their visit and sight seeing trip which included Eau Claire, Spooner, Superior, Duluth and Minneapolis.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Felton and Mrs. Alderman, who were here from Richland County visiting the Bender and Furgeson families of the town of Washburn went home Tuesday.
