Mrs. Smith of Marshfield and family of Marshfield were guests of her sister, Mrs. Fred Kier’s, Thanksgiving week.

 

Wm. Dahlke, transacted business at Neillsville all day Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Klopf Jr., Miss Elsie Klopf and Mr. Oscar Wiffler of Plymouth are visiting at Fred Schoengarth Jr. since last Saturday.

 

Ruth Smith accompanied Fred Kier to the county farm cheese factory Friday morning.

 

The Gluch factory closed last Friday.  Herman was too much occupied with farm work.  The patrons are all very sorry, as they considered Herman a No. 1 cheese maker and were always well satisfied with their returns.

 

Mrs. Fred Kier spent Sunday a.m. with Mrs. Dahlke.

 

Mrs. Aug. Gluch and children came from Neillsville Thanksgiving Day to help her father Carl Loeffler celebrate his birthday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Kier were enjoying the roads Sunday, exercising their driving team.

 

Clara Garbush is at Granton assisting Mrs. G. Bergeman for a few weeks.

 

Ernest Ayers spent Saturday and Sunday with his friend Herman Wegner at Granton.

 

Wm. Kelpin was called to Neillsville by the serious illness of his mother late Mond evening.

 

Mrs. Kier called on Mrs. Dahlke Tuesday.

 

Miss Hulda Schoengarth returned from the hospital at Marshfield on Wednesday very much improved in health.

 

Wm. Dahlke helped his brother-in-law Ed Williams press hay Wednesday.

 

Geo. Wilding transacted business at Granton Wednesday.
