Kozlowsky, Jacob (25 July 1882 - 22 March 1965)
Jacob Kozlowsky, 83, of Pray, died Monday in Neillsville. Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Zion Lutheran Chruch in Granton, of which he was a member. The Rev. F. C. Benecke will officiate. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Kozlowsky was born July 25, 1882, in Poland, coming to America at the age of 20. He was married to the former Justine Phillips in April, 1905, in Chicago. They lived there for 28 years, coming to this area in 1929. For the last 30 years Mr. and Mrs. Zozlowsky (Kozlowsky) have operated a store and tavern in Pray.
Surviving are his wife: four daughters, Mrs. Emily Warren of Plant City, Fla., Mrs. June Thalman of Wilmette, Ill., Mrs. Lillian Jepsen of Green Bay, and Mrs. Dorothy Rada of Country Club Hills, Ill.; four sons, Julius of Milwaukee, John of City Point, Walter of Neillsville and Paul of Melrose Park, Ill. Other survivors include 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his four sons, Julius, John, Walter and Paul, and two sons-in-law, Joseph Rada and Ben Thalman.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home.
