College Notes (22 February 2012)

 

James Cardinal, a senior politics and government and English major, of Withee was named to the dean’s list at Ripon College for the fall 2011 semester.  He is the son of James Barrett, Jr., and Kathy Cardinal of Withee.

 

Nicole Williams of Owen was named to the dean’s list at Minnesota State University, Mankato, for the fall 2011 semester.

 

The following Neillsville students were named to the dean’s list at Concordia University, Mequon, for the first semester of the 2011 to 2012 academic year: Trista M. Hribar and Tanya N. Tarcsay.

 

Frank Schmidt of Neillsville was among 44 fall 2011 student-athletes of Northwestern College, St. Paul, MN, to be named as an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) all-conference award winner.  He is a member of the Eagles men’s cross-country team. Student athletes receiving this honor must post a 3.5 or better semester grade point average.
