Members of Our Savior’s Lutheran congregation who attended the annual Tri-county Lutheran dart ball league banquet held Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss were: the Rev. and Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Turnquist, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rossow, Mr. and Mrs. David Danielson, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Erickson and Arendt Danielson.
Guests at the George Humke home for a week are their daughter and grandchildren, Mrs. Robert (Verona) Jackson and son, Scott, of Lake Bluff, Ill, and her daughter, Mrs. David (Diane) Barribeau and son, David, of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., who are also visiting other relatives in the area.
Mrs. Otto Schwarze, Miss Isadore Shields, Mrs. Anna Rossman and Mrs. Alma Mason visited in Marshfield Monday with Mrs. William Steiger, a hospital patient there.
Sunday dinner guests at the Donald Kocher home were Werner Wernberg of Arpin, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bertz of Loyal, the Misses Ella and Cora Kocher and Pamela Wolda of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Knute Wallin and son, Carl.
Mr. and Mrs. John Mader and son, Tommy, of Wisconsin Rapids, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Steele of Wausau spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Clarissa Steele, and Grandmother, Mrs. Alma Mason.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart and family of Stanley were Sunday guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.
The Come and Know Homemakers held their March meeting Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Delmond Johnson. In the absence of Mrs. Matt Gregorich, the lesson on "Main Dish Meals" was given by Mrs. Johnson. The next meeting is scheduled for April 20 at the home of Mrs. Carl Turnquist. Mrs. Ernest Elmer will present the health lesson and the "garden and plants" special interest lesson will be given by Mrs. Oliver Kesler.
