Gustave Reich’s baby is having trouble with its eyes.  Dr. Rath entertains hopes of its recovery.

Eugene Downer is going to school at York Center since Monday.

Bertha Dubes was down to clean the church room Monday.

Joe McMahon visited Hugo Swanson Sunday.

Peter Montgomery visited the McClaflin boys last Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Frank Downer and son Victor visited Mrs. Paul Handke Sunday.

Howard Canfield took dinner at Warren McClaflin’s Thanksgiving.

The Heathville school is going to have a Christmas program on Dec. 19^th.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Baker and son Donald made a trip to Neillsville on Saturday for the purpose of dental work.

Friends and relatives of Miss Lucia Beaty held a surprise party at her home last Friday night in honor of her seventeenth birthday.  Many of the Heathville villagers were present, but everyone was much disappointed at not seeing Henry Knoll’s smiling face in the crowd.

The teacher and pupils of the Romadka School join in thanking the patrons for their kind support of the school.  First, they extend thanks to the people who so kindly lent them the various articles used in the play, and secondly they wish to thank all who turned out, even though the weather was poor, to listen to the play.  Be assured that such a support does not remain unappreciated.  The pupils had their parts in fine shape, the only one missing a line being Mr. Wood, who was taking the part left vacant by Ralph Spry, who has been unable to attend school since his accident.  The proceeds amounted to four dollars and forty-five cents.
