Mose, Christian N. (11 JUL 1884 - 15 JUL 1963)

Death came to Christian Nielsen Mose, 79, a resident of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) for over 45 years, on July 15^th, 1963 at the home of his daughter in Los Angeles, Calif.  Death was due to cancer which brought a steady decline in his health following an operation one year ago at Stanley.

He was born July 11, 1884, at Bovling Sogn, Jutland, Denmark, and during the time he lived at Withee engaged in farming and was secretary for the Withee Coop Creamery for many years.  He also served as clerk of the Town of Hixon and treasurer of the village of Withee.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Catherine) Caroma of Los Angeles, and a son, Raymond of Withee, two grandchildren, and a brother, Niels Nielsen of Durand, Ill., and a sister, Katrina in Denmark.

Services were conducted by Rev. A.H. Schmidt, pastor of Eagle Rock Lutheran Church at Valhalla Memorial Chapel in North Hollywood, and interment was at the family plot at Valhalla.

Pallbearers were immediate members of the family.
