Koeppen, Kenneth Otto (October 31, 1936 - January 23, 2012)
Kenneth O. Koeppen, Sr., 75, died January 23, 2012, at his home in Monroe, Wash.
Kenneth Otto Koeppen was born on October 31, 1936, in the town of
Colby, to Otto and Frieda (Werner) Koeppen. He graduated from Colby
High School in 1955, and served in the US Army.
Ken spent most of his adult life in Washington working as a residential construction supervisor.
He is survived by his three children: two sons, Kenneth Jr. (Dee)
and Tom (Santa), and a daughter, Connie (Perry) Thomas; three
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by
two sisters, June Neuhaus and Wynola (Jerry) Vrana; and one
sister-in-law, Dorine Koeppen. He is further survived by his best
friend, Joan Robinson; and his beloved faithful companion, Rosie,
his dog.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, La Vern; and sisters,
Leona Zassenhaus and Violet Frome.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
