Londre, Richard N. (January 3, 1943 - February 8, 2012)
Richard N. Londre, age 69, of Dorchester, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. Father Daniel Hackel will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Dorchester.
Richard was born January 3, 1943, in Racine to Edward and Evelyn
(Despins) Londre. He graduated from Park High School and University
of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Richard proudly served his country in the
Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrician and
maintenance for various employers including Johnson’s Wax in
Racine and Hurd Windows in Merrill, Wisconsin.
Richard was joined in marriage to Mary Stoiber on August 13, 1994, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.
He enjoyed driving his Corvette, watching the Green Bay Packers,
golfing, taking his dog, Toby, for a ride on his golf cart, and
most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his
children and grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Londre; his sons, Jon (Carol)
Londre and Jeff (Lisa) Londre; his grandchildren, Adrienne, Dane,
Garret, and Dillon; his brother, Gerald (Patricia) Londre; his
sisters, Beverly Funk, Sharon Huck, Marilyn Highman, and Sandi
(Dan) Muleski.
He is further survived by his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Adeline Stoiber; his brothers-in-law, John Stoiber and Bob (Jane) Stoiber; his sisters-in-law, Marjean Zoellick, Cheryl (Jerry) Vanlue, and Theresa (Terry) Faude; his special friend, Donna Geiger; and many nieces and nephews.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers,
Edward, Robert, Ronald, and Thomas; and his sisters, Dorothy
Woodward, Joyce Hart, Nancy Toutant, and Joanne Granger.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
