Mr. and Mrs. Donald Degenhardt of Milwaukee were weekend guests at the Frank Degenhardt home in Loyal. On their return trip they found driving hazardous, due to a snowstorm, and returned to Loyal, leaving the following day for Milwaukee.
Mrs. Allen Seidl and children of Milwaukee were recent weekend guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Degenhardt of Loyal.
Mrs. Myrtia Davis of the Town of York entertained at dinner for Mr. and Mrs. William Wolf and family of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kitzhaber and family of Greenwood.
The Community club of York was entertained recently at the Herb Free home.
Postmaster Clarence E. Meinhardt of Greenwood attended a management conference for postmasters held in Madison. Other area postmasters attending were from Owen, Abbotsford, Colby, Unity and Spencer.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Whitney and son of Waukegan, Ill., were recent weekend guests at the Tony Petkovsek home in Willard.
