Grap, Rose (24 March 1901 - 5 May 1965)

 

Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Milwaukee for Mrs. Walter Grap, 64, who died suddenly at her home May 5, of a coronary thrombosis. The Rev. Edwin Pieplow officiated.  Burial was made in Valhalla.

 

Mrs. Grap, the former Rose Mitte, was born March 24, 1901, in Globe, the daughter of William and Bertha Mitte. She was married to Walter Grap June 22, 1929, in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe.

 

Pallbearers were: Jerry Schoenherr, Donald and Thomas Kramer and John Kuether.

 

She is survived by her husband; three children, W. James Grap and Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Neusen of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Robert (Jennine) Dichard of Brockton, Mass.; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Martha Grap of Neillsville; five brothers, Edwin Klueckmann of Eau Claire, Walter Mitte of Milwaukee, William Mitte of Dubuque, Ia., and Theodore and Harold Mitte of Neillsville; four sisters, Mrs. Hedwig Schoenherr of Neillsville, Mrs. Ottilie Kramer of Hales Corners, Miss Bertha Mitte of Milwaukee and Mrs. Edwina Pemberton of Portland, Ore.  Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and John and Virginia Kuether.

 

Attending the services were: Mrs. Hedwig Schoenherr, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thoma, Mrs. Lee Mills, Mrs. George Thoma and Jeff, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mitte, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitte, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Vincent, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Jr., Mrs. Martha Grap, Mrs. Bert Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mitte and Mrs. Herman Dux all of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Klueckmann and Mrs. Ervin Clark of Eau Claire; and Forest Klueckmann of Fall Creek.
