Amidon, Mildred (? - 27 February 1965)

Graveside rites were held last Saturday afternoon at Windfall Cemetery, Granton, for the interment of the ashes of Mrs. Mildred M. Amidon, long-time resident of Granton who died February 27, in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Mrs. Amidon, 83, was the widow of George E. Amidon, who operated a drug store in Granton for many years before his death in 1939.   She was born in Tawas City, Mich., the daughter of Judge and Mrs. E. Laidlow. Her father was a farmer and lumberman for many years before becoming a judge.  He was, also, the organizer of the Republican Party in his county.

Mrs. Amidon is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Thomas of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Walker H. Hill of East Lansing, Mich.; and by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
