Poppee Poppers 4-H (1 May 1965)

The meeting of the Poppee Poppers 4-H club was called to order by our president, Sheila Stewart, May 1, at the Ray Munson Home.  The American flag pledge was led by Cathy Wagner, and the 4-H pledge by Marjorie Petersen. Roll call was taken by saying some means of safety, with five members absent.

The old business was about the safety triangles for tractors.

The new business was to have two meetings a month and to put flowers on a grave Memorial Day.

The demonstrations were given by Allen Petersen, on the parts and use of a wood chisel; and Mary Munson gave a talk on health.  Patty Ruggles had a safely talk.

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn.

The mothers present were our club leader, Mrs. Harold Hodnett, Mrs. Ray Munson, Mrs. James Ruggles, Mrs. Ted Suda, Mrs. Ted Klabon and Mrs. Art Petersen.

A lunch was served by Mrs. Munson.  Our next meeting will be held at the Leo Stewart home June 2.—Marjorie Petersen, Club Reporter
