Miss Nancy Hill, sister of the bride from Withee, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Miss Wanda Bush, the groom’s sister from Owen.
They wore identical street length dresses in aqua, fashioned of chiffon over taffeta with a draped bodice and bateau neckline. A cummerbund topped the fully gathered skirt, matching half crowns of pearls were their headpieces, with a face veil. They carried one pale pink rose with long streamers to match their dresses.
Attending the grooms was Jerry Lindgren of Withee as best man, and Harvey Moore of Neillsville as groomsman. They wore white dinner jackets with black trousers and bow ties. Jerry Hill and Jimmy Hill, cousins of the bride, were ushers.
The bride’s mother chose for the wedding a navy blue mesh dress with white accessories. Her corsage was four pink Garnett roses with white feathered carnations.
The groom’s mother attended the wedding in a beige dress with accessories to match and her corsage was also four pink Garnett roses with white feathered carnations.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors.
