Arola, Matt (1878 - 9 AUG 1963)

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Bethany Lutheran Church for Matt Arola, 85, who died of complications Thursday.  The Rev. Roger Tellock officiated and burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wally Havelin, Toiyo Makinen, Leo Bruchert, William Kangas, V. Mutka and Robert Johnson.

Mrs. Into Liimaita, accompanied by Carol Kangas, sang a Finnish hymn.

Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Arola, Menomonie; Mr. and Mrs. Irving Russ, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Gust Koski, and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Saari of Wakefield, Mich., and many friends from the Owen and Withee area.
