Trybula, Agnes (11 NOV 1929-24 FEB 2012)

 

Agnes R. Trybula, 82, Neillsville, formerly of Thorp, passed away at her home on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., March 1, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. Joseph Follmar will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery, Thorp. Pallbearers will be Mike Firzl, Travis Fitzl, Alex Trybula, Adam Trybula, Brian Niedezwiecki, and Roger Niedzwiecki.

 

Agnes Rita Meske was born on Nov. 11, 1929, in the town of Withee, rural Thorp, the daughter of George and Anna (nee Oberle) Meske. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at St. Bernard’s Catholic School, and graduated from Thorp High School in 1948. She then attended Taylor Normal School and graduated with a teaching certificate in 1950. She taught at Breezy Hill and Pineland schools until 1952. She married Frank Trybula on Feb, 20, 1952 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp. She farmed with her husband, south of Willard, until retirement. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and was active with the Willard Historical Society. She had many interests such as gardening, reading, crafts, puzzles and embroidery. She especially loved spending time with her family.

 

She will be dearly missed by her children, Francis (Rebecca) Trybula, Neillsville, Joyce (Dennis) Fitzl, Willard, Peggy Frank, Eau Claire, Jerry (Theresa) Trybula, Neillsville, Rebecca (Steve) Niedzwiecki, Long Prairie, Minn., and Joe Trybula, Neillsville; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Beatrice Husting, Waukesha, Betty Straszkowski, Thorp, and Dolores Meske, Colorado Springs, Co;o.; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank, on May 15, 2000; three daughters, Joan Marie in November 1952, Claire Mae, and Yvonne Steinmetz in January 1985; one grandson; three sisters, Marge Bloczynski, Irene Klimick and Mary Ann Getter.
