Fred Haupt went visiting Sunday.

 

Floyd Spry has been attending school since Monday.

 

L.J. Stevens butchered one day last week.

 

Wallace Fruit visited James Scoles Sunday.

 

George Norris helped W.J. Spry three days last week.

 

L.J. Stevens entertained the hay balers last week.

 

Arthur Phipps’ folks visited Orren Montgomery’s Sunday.

 

W.J. Spry is siding his house this week.

 

Jim Baker sawed wood Monday.

 

Homer Davis spent Sunday at L. Jordan’s.

 

All the boys had a fine time skating last Sunday.

 

Mrs. Bessie Stevens called on Rob Scheel’s Sunday evening.

 

L. Curtis and family visited at W.W. Smith’s Sunday..

 

Floyd and Phelps Spry visited Ralph Spry Sunday.

 

Gunther Eden and Kenneth Grade took dinner at McClaflin’s Sunday.

 

The Schmidtke boys are cutting wood for Loyal Jordan.

 

Church services were held at the Garbisch Schoolhouse Sunday.

 

Joe Bird is building a basement for a machine shed and granary.

 

The hay balers left for home Saturday, taking their machine with them.

 

Mrs. W. McClaflin and daughters Vivian and Lucille visited Mrs. Montgomery Sunday afternoon.

 

Messrs. Schultz, Pickett and Strey have purchased Moldenhauer’s sawmill and intend to move it to Rob Strey’s for the winter cut.

 

John P. Kintzele and family autoed down to Neillsville last Sunday for the purpose of carrying Miss Mildred back to school.

 

The pupils of the Garbisch School invested some of their Thanksgiving money in a pencil sharpener.  It has arrived and is highly satisfactory.

 

School in District No. 4 will close Dec. 19th for a two week vacation, beginning again on Jan. 5, 1914.

 

Loyal Jordan had an accident while unloading a hog one day last week.  The team became frightened at some noise and ran away, stopping themselves by running into a telephone pole near Herman Garbisch’s.  No damage was done except the breaking of the buggy pole.

 

The condition of Gustave Reich’s baby became so serious that under the advice of Dr. Rath it was taken to the Eau Claire hospital Tuesday morning.  Mrs. Reich and Dr. Rath accompanied it.
