Scheuneman, Donald F. (June 16, 1933 - February 20, 2012)

Donald F. Scheuneman, age 78, of Withee, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Donald was born June 16, 1933, in Taylor County to Robert and Baybel (Hathaway) Scheuneman. He received his education at Pine Grove Elementary School.

Don married Mary Jean Boyles on June 25, 1953, in Medford. They later divorced.

After their marriage they farmed in the town of Holway and ran their own milk hauling business. Don was united in marriage to Ilga Zarnis in April 1981, in Neillsville. He drove for Mertens, worked at Weathershield for a year and a half and worked in the woods for Dennis Ovyn for many years.

Don enjoyed playing dice, shooting pool and working in the woods.

His is survived by his daughter, Sandi Kuske, Stetsonville; his son, James Scheuneman, Owen; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Don is preceded in death by his wife Ilga; his daughter, Connie Koplin and seven brothers and sisters.

A funeral service was held February 25 at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen.
