Dimmitt, Rita (Marriage - 5 June 1965)
Rev. M. J. Molinaro officiated at a 10:30 a.m. nuptial mass Saturday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Fairview), uniting in marriage Miss Rita Dimmitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Dimmitt of Humbird, and James Ulesich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich of Greenwood.
The bride, entering the church with her father was attired in a floor length gown of satin-like taffeta, styled with a cummerbund at the waist and a large bow in the back. Several appliqués accented the gown. A chapel train extended from the back waistline. A crystal crown held her elbow-length veil. The bridal bouquet was a cascade arrangement of deep pink roses and white stephanotis.
Mrs. Rosemary Schmidt of Milwaukee, a sister of the bride, was matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Nancy Dimmitt and Shirley Ulesich.
The groom was attended by Ronald Ulesich of Chicago as best man. Groomsmen were William Dimmitt and Robert Ulesich. Ushers were Francis Herr and Larry Schmidt of Milwaukee.
Carrying the rings on a white satin pillow was Ronald Carl of Neillsville, as ringbearer. Ann Marie Christen of Black River Falls served as flower girl.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents. The day’s festivities ended with a dance at a ballroom near Neillsville.
The new Mrs. Ulesich is employed in the state department of taxation in Madison. Mr. Ulesich is a 1965 graduate of the Illinois School of Optometry.
