Peissig, Opal (24 AUG 1963)

Mrs. Opal Peissig became the bride of Mr. Clarence Gustafson at a ceremony performed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, 1963.  The Rev. Roger Tellock officiated.  Bridesmaid was Mrs. Lila Klemetson, and best man was the groom’s brother, Charles Gustafson.

After the service a buffet dinner was served to about 150 guests in the church dining room, followed by a reception at the village hall.  The bride is an employee of the Owen-Curtiss State Bank.  The groom is a resident of Wausau.  They were presented with a large number of gifts and the well wishes of a host of friends.
