Humbird (17 June 1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Bratton of Dallas, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pickett of Kokomo, Wash., were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Perle Pickett. In the afternoon they called on Mr. Picket in the Black River Falls hospital.  Mr. Pickett was taken to the hospital Saturday evening.  He was quite ill after a heart attack.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Haigh of Neillsville called last Sunday at the home of Miss Elsie Jahn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fitzpatrick and children of Black River Falls were dinner guests Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Newell and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hnetkovsky and his sister of Cole city, Ill., old neighbors from the Columbia area of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jarolimek, called on them last week. They were on their way to Rice Lake.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Terrell visited Saturday afternoon at the Vaughn Ness home in Altoona. Nancy Ness came home with them to spend a week.

 

Walter Jenswold returned to Mt. Pleasant, Ia., Monday, after spending two weeks with his mother, Mrs. Mary Jenswold.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zimmerman attended a family reunion of her people Sunday in rural Westby.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Art Wittren of New Hartford, Ia., visited his sister, Mrs. Mary Jenswold, a couple of days last week.
