Emling, Christine (29 June 1959)

Christine Emling, route 1, Greenwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Bauman, route 1, Loyal, and Allan Prior, route 1, Loyal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Prior, route 1, Greenwood, were married in the Methodist Church at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, June 29, by the Rev. Alfred Attwood.

The bride chose a gown of flocked nylon over misty green taffeta and net with matching head piece.  She wore a corsage of red roses.

Mrs. Arthur Prior of Mundelein, Ill., was matron of honor.  Her gown was pink lace over net and taffeta.  Joyce Diedrich, bridesmaid wore blue lace over net and taffeta.  Matching head pieces and red rose corsages completed the attire of the bride’s attendants.

Arthur Prior of Mundelein, Ill., was best man for his brother and Delton Jolivette of Greenwood, was groomsman.

A reception and 7 o’clock dinner was held at the home of the groom’s parents for 50 relatives and close friends.

Both bride and groom attended the Loyal Public Schools.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Prior will make their home on the groom’s farm on route 1, Loyal.
