Pearl Beeckler closed her school Friday night for Christmas vacation by having a tree and a fine program.

Ed Ackerman met with what might have been a serious accident last Tuesday while at work in the woods.  A tree fell on him and rendered him unconscious for a time, but at present is as good as new again.

Mr. and Mrs. John Breese and F.W. Davis took dinner at Truman Davis

 Last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith and children did shopping at Neilslville Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol entatained about 30 relatives at dinner Xmas.

Alfred Johnson left Tuesday for a visit with his parents in Shawano County.

Mrs. Johnson and Effie Davis called on Mrs. Breese Tuesday afternoon.
