A number of our young people took advantage of the fine weather for a jolly skating party on the ice near Lawson’s.
Mrs. Carl Berg visited at Lou Smith’s on Friday afternoon.
Miss Elsie Johnson closed her school in Levis for a Christmas vacation.
Ed Dennis accompanied the W.D. Rose family in their auto to Marshfield on Monday.
Johnnie Johnson has been very ill this week, suffering from an abscess in the ears. Dr. Ross is attending him.
Mrs. Ara Lee and Lloyd did shopping in Marshfield Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee drove to Withee last Friday for a several days visit with relatives there.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jahr and Hugh Converse autoed to Neillsville last week Wednesday.
Little Winifred Smith is recovering from her attack of pneumonia.
The Misses Hazel, Vivian and Pearl Books are at home for the holidays.
Miss Florence Converse had a bad fall on the ice Friday and though not seriously injured, will hardly be able to trip the light fantastic for a while.
Frances Smith came home Thursday from Westfield where she has been visiting relatives for the past three months.
