Mr. and Mrs. Albert Altenburg and son Werner of Hazelgreen, Wis., arrived last Tuesday and will spend the holidays with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Altenburg.
Robert Gotter returned from his trip to St. Paul Tuesday.
Mrs. Lucas Hale was most pleasantly surprised on her 69th birthday Saturday the 20th, when her children and grandchildren marched in on her with baskets laden with good things to eat and all ate supper at the old home.
Miss Grace Ziemendorf, after a several weeks visit with Agnes Krause, returned to her home at Dewhurst.
Mrs. E.J. Montag transacted business at Neillsville Monday.
Mrs. Deegan and Mrs. Smither from Watertown visited with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Deegan the past week and returned home on Saturday of last week.
Miss Lydia Schier visited friends at Marshfield the past week.
Martin Breseman and Albert Marg and son Willie were business callers at Marshfield Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brooks of Cedarhurst spent Sunday at E.F. Brooks’.
Fred Hankey and family spent Sunday at Ernest Hankey’s in Nasonville.
Ferd Hein and family went to Neillsville Saturday.
Mrs. S. Washburn of Millston is spending the holidarys with her son R.T. Washburn.
Max Opelt and Arthur Garbush traded teams this week.
Mrs. Lillian Foote of Longford, S.D, arrived this week to spend the holidays wither father Wm. Yorkston.
