Pleasant Ridge (1 July 1965)
Miss Shirley Magnuson of St. Paul, Minn., is spending a three week vacation with her mother, Mrs. Ella Magnuson.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Kuechenmeister and family attended the 40th wedding anniversary Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Anderegg of Loyal. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kuechenmeister, who attended the Pleasant Ridge Homemakers picnic Sunday in Schuster Park, spent the afternoon at the Anderegg home.
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lezotte took part Sunday in Alma Center in the horse part of the parade. Their children stayed with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lezotte.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Huckstead of Memorial Home spent Sunday at the
Huckstead farm home. Joining them were Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Murphy and family of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nemitz and son of
Grafton, and Lowell Huckstead of Elkhart, Ind.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Short and family attended the state convention of Flying Farmers in Marshfield Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Schunke and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schunke of Black River Falls visited Sunday with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Earl Magnuson, and her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell and August Janke called Saturday evening at the Nina Blackman home. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Randall of Fond du Lac, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahnert of Neillsville visited there Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ingle of Huron, S. D., were overnight guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Short. They returned Monday by plane. Other visitors during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Latton and family of Portage and Mrs. Robert Tracey and two children of Janesville.
The directors of the Wisconsin Fur Breeders association are meeting this (Thursday) evening at the Dale Short home.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dahlke of Milwaukee spent a few days with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eisentraut. They brought their son, John, to spend the summer with Mr. and Mrs. David Eisentraut and family.
